Jo Ann Grasso
Vice President and Investment Advisor Representative

Jo Ann Grasso is a Vice President and Investment Advisor Representative at CooksonPeirce Wealth Management, responsible for managing private client relationships and financial planning as requested from clients of the firm. Prior to joining CooksonPeirce in 2000, Jo Ann became an NASD licensed Registered Representative in 1997 while working as the Investment Coordinator for Mass Mutual, and then Lincoln Financial Group, holding both a Series 6 and  Series 63 licenses.  She became NASD Series 65 licensed in 2008.  Jo Ann also worked for several years with the U.S. Civil Service Commission where she tested, rated, and advised prospective Federal employees as well as a liaison with Federal Agencies.

Jo Ann previously received her Associates of Science degree in Business Administration and completed her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh.  She is also a current member of the Pittsburgh Society of Investment Professionals (PSIP).

Jo Ann has three children.  Her son, Alan, is realizing his dream as owner/operator of a local brewery located on the Northside of Pittsburgh, producing several craft beers at Allegheny City Brewery.  Her daughter, Elizabeth, is a professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, who lives in Chicago with one son, and her other daughter, Christine, lives is Sao Paolo, Brazil, is a consultant with Deloitte and has two daughters.

Jo Ann has always loved travel, visiting several countries over many years, but of late has been spending the majority of her travel time in Chicago or Brazil visiting her daughters and young grandchildren.
