Janelle M. Fumerola, , CFP®, MBA
Client Advisor

Janelle Fumerola is a Senior Client Advisor with CooksonPeirce Wealth Management, responsible for managing the firm's Akron, Ohio office which opened in Summer 2018.  She manages private client relationships and provides comprehensive financial planning services to the firm’s clients, encompassing investment, retirement, tax, insurance and estate planning strategies.

Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Janelle was the Executive Vice President and Managing Principal for JFS Wealth Advisors in Hermitage, PA, where she managed the Personal Financial Planning and Asset Management departments and led the firm’s Business Development team.  Since 2005, Janelle had been the primary advisor for high net worth individuals, families and non-profit institutional clients, and was responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring client centered investment strategies designed to achieve her client’s overall personal, financial, and legacy goals.  Prior to joining JFS, Janelle worked for Second National Bank in Warren, OH, holding various positions.

Janelle earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Hiram College and a Masters of Business Administration from Youngstown State University, with a certificate in Enterprise Resource Planning.  In addition, she holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner.

Janelle is a member of NAPFA - Registered Financial Advisor, member of the Financial Planning Association of North East Ohio, and is Treasurer and past President of the Youngstown Business and Professional Women’s organization.  She has also held the positions of President of the Mahoning-Shenango Valley Estate Planning Council, President of the Shenango Valley Young Professionals, charter member of the United Way of Mercer County’s Women’s Initiative and a past Athena Award nominee.

Janelle resides in Grove City, PA, and enjoys spending time with her four grown children.  An avid golfer and licensed Zumba® instructor, she enjoys staying physically active.  She completed her first full marathon in 2018, along with having completed several adventure races locally and nationally.
